Flower, Flower Everywhere

Hello, friends.
I’m really sorry for not posting anything this past few weeks.
I just handed in my thesis, so hopefully I’ll be less busy.
…..
Last month, I managed to go visit a Flower Park in Ashikaga.
Me and my friend planned to see the Wisteria there, it looked so pretty in the picture.
…..
Ashikaga Flower Park is located in the outskirt of Tokyo.
The nearest station is Ashikagashi. It takes around 2 hours from Asakusa by Ryomo Limited Express train (2000¥ ish), or there is local train with transfers along the way. It’s cheaper (970¥) but it takes longer. From the station, you could catch a bus or shuttle bus (free) to the park.
…..
 Business Hours:
 9:00 – 18:00 (March to Late November)
10:00 – 17:00 (November to February)
WInter Illumination 15:30 – 21:00 (Early December to early February)
The entrance fee is around 300-1700¥ depending on the season. When we visited there, it costed us 1000¥
The specialty of this park is Wisteria (in Japanese: Fuji 藤).
It blooms in mid/ late April until early May. It it change color from white-pink-purple-and yellow.
When we went there, we were late, and the wisteria were almost gone.
But we could see various roses.

The most beautiful is the purple wisteria, and there aren’t many places that have wisteria. If you want to see it, I suggest to come in early May.
(The Wisteria is gone)

(gone)
The park is quite small actually.

Not only roses and wisteria, this park has various flowers.

And there is a big pond in the middle of the park.

There are several restaurants and food stall inside the park. During the wisteria season, they sell wisteria-themed food.
Wisteria Ice Cream

4 color of wisteria ramen.
I think this is a special menu. Every color represents the color of wisteria.
The white one is the plain one,
the pink one is made from sakura,
the purple on is made from purple yam,
the yellow one is made from yuzu.
いただきます!

It was raining a bit, but we managed to take a lot of photo.
In the entrance or exit, you could find shops that sell souvenir.
You could find food souvenir. This one is their specialty.
Each color also represents the color of wisteria.
Not only food, you can also buy  flowers as souvenir.
And the pots are so cute

Allright, that’s all for this post.
